Programs

At Middletown Christian Early Learning Center, all of our programs are presented in an environment which credits God for all things.  We are a Christian school and strive for the children to learn about God’s love while they develop the necessary skills for a successful transition to kindergarten.

  • Age Three Program
    We have three main goals for our three year olds. First, they will be learning cooperation. This will be done through play with other students and listening and obeying their teacher.  Secondly, they will be developing self confidence. This self confidence will develop as the child begins to successfully follow directions, master basic cognitive and motor skills, control their emotions, and create friendships.  Finally, our curriculum supports the child’s developing abilities and allows for the mastering of counting, letter recognition, understanding the difference between letters and numbers and being able to use and hold scissors, crayons and pencils correctly… [ read more ]
  • Age Four Program
    It is during this very important preparation time that your child will strengthen their self management and communication skills.  A focus on using words and not actions is stressed.  Also, your child will be learning phonics, phonic blends and some simple sight words.  These phonic lessons will prepare your child with the knowledge and self confidence to begin reading.  Our goal by the end of this year is for your child to recognize all their letters and sounds, 10 colors, 6 shapes, and the numbers 0-50.  We also work with your child to memorize their address, birth date, phone number and several modified Bible memory verses.  Finally, your child should also have the fine motor skills and knowledge to zip zippers and to tie their shoes… [ read more ]
  • School-Age Program
